Reason for me posting this is the chance of somebody creating custom maps for MW3 using cod 4 radiant, like myself, seeing this (anyone?)

    Hi!

    Do I need this?

If you are into creating custom maps in call of duty 4 radiant, maybe yes!
    It not, no!

    What is this

This is a python script that helps with getting raw images as in jpg's, png's and whatnot into radiant.
The script was written by somebody called johndoe and edited a tiny bit by myself.

    How to use

    Setup

    • Download these files and put them somewhere into a new folder
    • Install Python if needed (im using Python 3.12.2)
    • Install the pillow package (needed to run the script)

    Using the script

    • Add all the images you want into the "images" folder sitting in the script's directory
    • Run the .bat file
    • You will have to enter a prefix for your new images. If you set it to temp for example, the created gdt, batch and all the images later on will have that prefix in radiant. Make sure not to use the same prefix twice and keeping the prefix short!
    • After pressing enter and the script finishing, move folders "bin", "texture_assets" and "source_data" into your call of duty 4 root directory.
    • Finally run the .bat file that the script created and wait for it to finish (The .bat file should now be in cod4root/bin and named by the prefix you set)

    Thats it!

Heres a very short video showcasing me using the script: Youtube Video

This is a pretty easy fix. Unplug the discombobulater.
