IW4MAdmin Problem, Dedicated Server VPS with Debian 11
-
Hello !
I use OVH VPS, with Debian 11 for my server
I have a problem with my IW4MAdmin installation its impossible to setup IW4M Admin i have this error :
"Not monitoring server due to uncorrectable errors [ip:port]
[2024-07-15 20:55:23.392 FTL] Failed to initialize IW4MAdmin
SharedLibraryCore.Exceptions.NetworkException: Reached maximum retry attempts to send RCon data to server

at IW4MAdmin.Application.ApplicationManager.Init()
at IW4MAdmin.Application.Program.LaunchAsync()
Fatal error during initialization
Reached maximum retry attempts to send RCon data to server
Press enter to exit..."I've done a lot of research online, tried a lot of things, but I've already understood that the problem comes from the server configuration files or IW4MAdmin.
I've checked the Rcon password correctly, verified that I've used the right port, but everything is good and nothing changes. I've also used other server files to install everything, but I'm still stuck at the IW4MAdmin step (github/Sterbweise/T6Server/).
So I didn't follow the tutorial on the website, but this Github one, so I think the problem might come from there. However, the Plutonium tutorial doesn't work on Debian, I've tried everything, it doesn't work, and I don't have any particular programming skills besides tinkering.
And I'm not very good at English either. I've spent several days on it but can't find anything. It's completely without a solution to this problem that I turn to you, so if anyone has an idea, I'm all ears!

If you have issues with IW4MAdmin did you try asking on their server?

Resxt Its okay, I've fixed the problem.
I simply had a port error. I had configured my port to a certain number, and when I typed "net_port" in the server console, I saw that the port I had configured had been incremented by 1 (for example: 48765 became 48766). So I simply modified the port in the IW4MAdminSetting.json file to match what the console outputted, and that's it, problem solved.
But thank you for your quick response, it's cool! I think my problem might still be useful, so I'm leaving my answer. It's up to you to decide if it seems helpful.
