Why can't I find my server in the server browser?

I set up everything on a separate machine built for hosting game servers. The server says "heartbeat successful" and does check again occasionally too. But when I start the game on my main machine, I can't see the server when I search for the "hostname" I gave when creating the server key. No idea why since I did all the steps in the guide. Can anyone help me out here?

Depending on NAT loopback you may be unable to "see yourself", given that you host on the same machine you play
What matters is if others from outside your network can see your server or not
Connect to your own server with the connect command

Resxt I am trying to connect to the server on a different PC, but both are on the same network

The issue was that I was connected to a VPN on the server PC, and now that I disconnected it, it works fine. I'm feeling a little dumb haha, well thanks for the answer anyway!
