Hi, I just setup a new server and followed all the steps from the tutorial, but for some reason, I can only start multiplayer server and not the zombie mode. I would appreciate any help. thank you.

Use the default cfg, don't edit it and also make sure to not use the same port for both servers

It’s saying it’s rotating to Buried, a DLC map, but it’s showing no signs of loading it. This usually indicates you don’t have it installed.

Ali777 if you open the dedicated.cfg, you’ll find an explanation under “EXAMPLE MAP+GAMETYPES ROTATIONS”. As for what you have to use, they’re listed for each map and game mode in dedicated_zm.cfg under “Maps and the matching configs”.

Ali777 if the server is hosted on the same device you’re playing on, did you make sure to change the port from 4976? Otherwise if it’s not hosted on the same device, did you forward the port you’ve specified in the server starter bat file?

Hadi77KSA so the server is hosted on the same device yes. i postforwared 4976 and 4977. in the files i changed it to 4977

im not using the console command to connect. i look for my server name at the server list and try to join. i want to play with a friend so im sure he needs to join per server list.

Ali777 the server looks to be running according to that output. You could try connecting using the console command if connecting through the browser doesn’t work.

Hadi77KSA what do you mean exactly? i mean the server works and it shows up in the list. but if i try to join no matter what way. it only loads for 1 second and says "Joining game session". can you tell me what exactly you need?
