I have been trying to run 2 instances of black ops 2 locally so I could connect to the same server and also hide certain controllers from each instance so I could practically play split screen. I saw a guide showing this was possible with an app called nucleus but I could not get this to work myself a so I couldn’t join my own games if I ran it in LAN mode and I can’t run 2 instances online. If there is any way I can simply run 2 instances of the game in online mode then I would be able to play split screen on one PC. Can anyone help?

You can use something like NucleusCoop but we don't provide any support for it

Resxt I tried it but it didn’t work. The only issue I ran into was either running multiple instances or trying to join LAN on the same PC. Is there no sort of command I can use to run another instance?

damian1603 it’s possible to run another instance and join it in LAN as of r4516 by starting a private match then having the other instance connect to it with the connect ip:port console command, in this case most likely it would be connect localhost:4976 when connecting to the first instance. You can check the port by writing net_port into the console.
