HannesC I have exactly the same problem. It crashes "it doesn't work". I tried everything by reinstalling redists and dxsetup.exe and it didn't change anything. My anti-virus is kaspersky for me

HannesC I can't speak for OP, but for me there is no error whatsoever. Crashes when I click "play" on either. No warning, just quits to desktop.

I also allowed it through firewall and same thing, it just crashes everytime. No error message, anything, just, puf, gone. I've seen another post, where the guy had the same problem as me and they recommended him to uninstall mcafee but, is there any other way?

AmpujaKid @Jragic Please don't hijack threads, create your own threads next time. However, install these redists and run dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download

minerMC McAfee is trash, its complete garbage. There's no other way, if you wanna play pluto, uninstall that shitty antivirus.

XEN oppped Kaspersky is a good antivirus, I used to use it myself. It doesn't cause issues with pluto, however to be sure, add pluto to exclusions. If that doesn't work either, try disabling Kaspersky temporarily(doubt that'll work but meh worth a try)

XEN oppped Well did you try adding pluto to exclusions in Kaspersky or temporarily disabling the antivirus?
