help me, updater canceled

I've been trying to download Plutonium Launcher for 3 days. I uninstalled it, of course, deleted it, and updated it again, thinking that this way I wouldn't have any errors when updating. But every time I download the launcher and it says "crash id" that the task was canceled, my only antivirus is Windows. Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this? It's Sunday, and I want to play right away, since the other days I'm busy working.
