[ZM] WAW Weapons mod for bo1 maps v2.3

this is my bum-ass mod that adds waw weapons to all the bo1 maps in the box and as wallbuys

This mod adds every weapon from waw zombies including the mg42, .357 Magnum & the waw m1911 plus some extras

I made this mainly due to the fact that I always wanted to try out bo1 maps with waw weapons and I figured since no one had made a mod like this that I might as well do so myself to my best ability

box rng should be fixed now, however the galil and python have been removed to fix the box rng

Update Version 2:
- added MG42, .357 Magnum & the waw m1911
- removed the m60, waltherp38 and the mp40 suppressed
- mp40 uses sounds and animations from waw
- the upgraded thompson, mp40, ptrs41, and flamethrower use the viewmodels from waw instead of the version I made

- double barrel shotgun doesn't disappear anymore when papped on the bo1 maps (this glitch didn't appear on der riese)

- added specular map to the m1911 and mg42, making them more shiny looking and not flat
- attempted to fix an issue where the pap camo would be white (I never had the issue so I can't say 100% that it's fixed)

- updated muzzle flashes
- arisaka had an issue on der riese where it would disappear when papped, so that's fixed now

- mp40 movement resembles the waw version more accurately

HOW TO INSTALL:
- In the zip file there will be a folder called "WAW_Weapons_for_bo1" take that folder and put it into your mods folder for bo1
- if your playing on plutonium that folder can be found in you plutonium directory under Plutonium/storage/t5/mods (if you don't have a mod folder make one)
- for base bo1 you just go to your game directory and put the folder from the zip into your mods folder (create a mods folder if you don't have one) Also, to play on base bo1 you need to have the linker mod installed to play mods
This mod has an issue where the reload sounds for the .357, mg42 & m1911 are more quiet than usual. this was my first time ever making sound aliases so I probably messed up somewhere, regardless of that I've tried a lot to fix it and just couldn't, but if I find a fix I'll update it
Let me know if this mod has any issues as knowing myself I probably messed up somewhere

Brigeezy123 all the weapons are obtainable through the box as I've done a lot of testing to make sure of that, however, I've noticed that I'll get the same 3 or 4 weapons 90% of the time and it's a little frustrating since I have no idea why it does that. If I figure out a solution I'll update it

HomerJay42 thanks, also im not sure if this is just from a texture on my end but do the stg and trench gun papped look like this for you? when i use cheats to give the guns it looks normal but when i put it in the pap machine it looks like this:
im like 90% sure its my end

Brigeezy123 I accidentally included the camo tables I made that was supposed to apply the bo1 pap camo to all the waw weapons, but part way through making this I changed my mind but forgot to remove it, this caused the pap camo show on parts with no silver etching. I fixed it along with the box rng (at least I'm like 90% it's fixed)

would you also be able to buff the papped stg and trench gun a bit? they seem a lot more weak than their waw counterparts

Brigeezy123 I did for the bo1 maps but realized that they weren't buffed for der riese, so they're buffed now. I also buffed the kar98k, m1carbine and the m1garand

the next weapon you should add is the m1garand with the grenade launcher.
and i like the mp40 pap camo update alot, see if u can add those steel parts back onto the papped trench gun and double barrel, maybe even add it to the fg42 lol. would be appreciated.
and the metal bumps on the papped waffe looks a bit off just letting u know

Janio_720 i think it would be a better idea and more balanced if its just a separate mod that swaps the tgun with the waffe.

Janio_720 possibly, the only reason I didn't bother doing so is because both the thundergun and the waffe need external scripts to function properly, meaning if I put the waffe in kino it would do nothing. I could put the waffe script into kino but I'm not good with that kinda stuff so I'll have to see

I'll try figuring it out sometimeHomerJay42 i think the script is overlaying the metal_bumps over the one already on it. and i dont think its set to the right settings and resolution in the script. i tried making the texture into a 4x4 and it looked a lot closer but still looked like it was overlaying the original file placement.

This is such a cool mod! I've been thinking about something like this for a while, and like, just straight up recreating waw zombies in bo1 entirely. I was wondering though, Treyarch's ported waw weapons seem to have some sort of new specular maps that the original models didn't have, and I was wondering if it would be possible to make new ones for the weapons you ported. It's kinda jarring going between weapons and seeing the old ones looking so flat

Roll_Hikari13 I could try that out. If it's a simple texture swap then I could try using the bo1 m1911 textures (just using a black variant). the mg42 and .357 I'll look into as well, but I'm a little surprised they do look so flat considering the models I used for those weapons were already in the bo1 game files.

HomerJay42 also there seems to be a bit of a bug where the pap camo turns out like this in bo1 maps,
i believe it has to do with the gblackness.iwi not being completely black in base game because of the cubemaps being different on der riese compared to the rest of the maps i guess. drop this in the .iwd and i think it should fix it.

and i would recommend changing some of the bo1 map wallbuys and making the kar98k 200 pts. in ascension you should change the m1garand buy to an mp40
