How can i create a Server?
-
-
-
ensar94 ok? It seems you're missing config files so re-read the guide. Also if you're running game and server on the same pc set the server's port to 4977 in the startup batch file.
-
OK, but i have no t6r folder
-
ensar94 create it.
-
its the same issue: Config file dedicated_zm.cfg not found.
-
ensar94 ok so let's look at what the guide tells you:
Download the dedicated server cfg (MP/ZM) and save it to ./main/
Hm alright so it tells us to download the mp or zm config (depending on what you want to host) and place it into /main/. The main folder should be in the bo2 game folder that you are using for the server, if it doesn't exist create it. Right click the blue MP or ZM links and hit "save link as" that will enable you to download it as a config without having to manually paste the raw text into a text document.
-
where must the: dedicated_zm.cfg file go?
-
ensar94 If you don't bother to read what i'm telling you i can't help you, have a nice day.
-
it is in the main folder but it doesent work
-
ensar94 download this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j5BAJtvsFyVLlS0SVVAjgQAy-1t37Wl-/view?usp=sharing extract the files in the game folder, edit! start_zm_server.bat with the server key. if you don't want to use mods, delete "maps" in \ bo2 server \ t6r \ data. just run the zbat .bat, I imagine everything works correctly.

broken168 Zclassic.cfg not found???
-
ensar94 I recommend that you download your game again. I taught my friend that way and it worked, and I host a server every day that way. your game is probably incomplete.
-
broken168 it doesent work
-
ensar94 you did something incorrectly
-
ensar94 Where is the batch file located that you use to start the server? By default it uses the current directory as gamepath so if it's not in your server folder you're gonna have to edit it and change the gamepath manually.
