I was randomly banned for cheating while playing a trickshot server?

I don't know why I was banned. I am banned from pluto itself not just the server. The only thing that I have done was make a bind to change my fps in console, also tried killing last in a trickshot server while playing by myself to change the map. I really don't think that those should be the reason of the cheating ban? Can someone please help me out I really don't want to wait the 7 days when I legit did nothing? Why was I banned?

I just read a thread of someone else trying to get help and not a single person on staff or contributer supported him or helped him. He wasn't lying I legit got banned for zero reason as well. I hope that you're able to help me and hopefully look back into that thread that I have linked below where you are saying it isn't adding up. The legit exact same thing happened to me. I am also a trickshotter.

You had something / did something that triggered the anti-cheat:

Only thing you can really do is wait out your ban and not do it again. (and read up on the anticheat doc... it is very clear that you need to be in LAN mode to disable the anti-cheat.)

ALSO. I read the list of banable stuff. I don't have anything on the list. The closest thing I do have is a bing for FPS change. I bind in console bind n "com_maxfps 60 and bind m com_maxfps 0". Am I not allowed to have binds for my frames? The reason that I did this is because the killcam lags on a higher frame rate for some reason so I figured I would try to hotkey the bind mid killcam to see if it wouldn't lag.

I'm not trying to say that you are necessarily lying, i'm just saying i've never known the staff to take a banned person's "word for it" and reversed a ban... they know how the anti-cheat works and i'm sure have logs that can tell them much more info than what us normals are privy to!
I absolutely disagree that this is "clearly an issue" because if there was a rampant issue of false positives, you would see A HELL of a lot more people complaining about it compared to the VERY few people (most of whom i bet are full of crap) saying they didn't do anything.
I am obviously not staff or an admin so if they want to dig more into this, they can... My answers just came from the last couple years of observations of people who did in fact cheat and just said they wouldn't do it again. Just passing along the info!

DirkRockface thank you for replying with a little bit more compassion brother. i do believe that the other thread of the guy posting was telling the truth as well. i understand your stand on people trying to appeal bans and you want to assume guilt but there isn't really a way to cheat while trickshotting with it not being known in the clips. there for i dont think he truly was cheating. i think this may be a newer issue bc i have trickshotted on pluto servers for about 4 years not joking and this has never happened to me. the game is a lot more dead now then it was back then as well. my concern is just not being able to figure out the reason i was banned and then the anti cheat picks up the same thing and i am banned for even longer then making it impossible for me to play the game. i am more then willing to wait the 7 days out but i would like to return and be able to play. the only thing i can think of is the bind i set to change my fps but i'm not even sure if that is it. i used the bind multiple times prior to me getting banned. super strange hopefully someone can help me figure this out.

In any way you mess with the game memory, you will get ban. Doesn't matter if it was harmless or something as long as it is to mess with the game memory. Most people I see get ban in trickshot servers either used a tool for clips, cinematic editors, injectors, etc. We don't have access to logs or the reason why you're banned. All or most bans are handled by the anti-cheat system. Not by the plutonium team. I'm pretty sure plutonium team does have logs on why you were banned but they don't usually give out those logs either. So, from my experience it is either whatever you did is at fault unless the plutonium staff gives you an answer. We as contributors are just someone who donated to the plutonium project we don't have access to anything except early testing builds.

I'm not trying to be rude but I have explained very clearly I didn't modify the memory above in my previous replies. Also I asked if a staff member could possibly help me out and insure that I don't get banned again and find the reasoning I was banned. Since you're unable to give me that information and I have already requested to speak with staff your response wasn't needed. Thanks brother!

Even if we would give out those little logs we collect there is not much you can read out of them. Unlike some other big name anti cheat developers we preserve your privacy and don't try to collect everything we can scrape off your PC.
