Playing on old launcher version still safe?

Hey i just came back to Plutonium after 4 years, i had it still installed all that time so i just played and my launcher version didnt automatically update so i played on version r4060, it might be a stupid question but do i have something to worry about since i played on a pretty old version of the launcher or am i good? (i updated it now to the newest version r5246)

You would miss out on the features/fixes made on the updated versions and likely become unable to play with people on versions different than yours. For online, you would also stop being able to join dedicated servers that are on a more recent update than you and you might eventually stop being able to login to the launcher.
It’s mostly always recommended to update to the latest version.
