Unable to use Plutonium updater

Was there a plutonium.new.exe created? If yes, try running it as admin and add pluto to your av's exclusions.

HannesC I did and allowed firewall access to both plutos but I still receive the error.

Try deleting both of them - the original one as well as the .new one and redownload it from https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe
After done, add pluto to your av's exclusions then try running pluto as admin again.
