Just a quick question for the new torrent type of download
-
So i downloaded a bo1 torrent couple of months back and they almost shut down my internet for that wouldnt the same thing happen if i was to download pluto using torrent.I used a older download just because of this i would like to download a newer plutonium bo2 but im not sure what would happen do i need a vpn or something or what i dont want to get my wifi shut off i might sound like a dumbass but im just being careful
-
Acrillx who shut it off and why?
-
they didnt shut it off but they almost did
and im not sure who its my moms friends provider cuz i dont have wifi at home and well you know -
and something about sharing it but all i did was download it and play it so idfk
-
Acrillx sounds weird, was it because you torrented or just because you caused alot of traffic? download/upload rate can be limited in the torrent client. Prolly doesn't hurt to use a vpn tho.
-
im not sure they just sent a letter a month later saying something about me sharing it even tho i didnt it might have been because i had network sharing on not sure tho
-
Acrillx prolly because of torrenting then. You do share files with others while torrenting, that's the whole point of it. So use a vpn or get the game files from steam.
-
also another question do you know a free vpn since its prob faster to download one and use it
lmfao -
Acrillx i don't know any good free vpn software that has no traffic limit.
-
hm that sucks
i guess i just gotta wait untill i get something that isnt my school provided hotspot lmfao -
mainly because i get like 200 kb/s and that would take forever
-
you can get rid of this if u want
-
Acrillx yea would prolly be best to find another hotspot.
And nah, maybe the info in here will help others in the future. -
ok and what i meant is im gonna wait untill i go to a library so i can download it faster while using vpn
