Qurrannyyy Then you have a different error although it might look the same to you. Create a new thread instead of hijacking others and elaborate your issue there.

HannesC What bro? How am I hijacking? I'm getting the same fucking error as everyone else I wouldn't be on here if I wasn't instead of being disrespectful how about you properly provide some feedback instead of providing just restart your pc. It may have worked for other people it didn't work for some and like I get it you don't get paid for this. I'm extremely grateful that you and the other devs was able to make this happen I get it you're stressed out because you probably get thousands of messages a day some of them are mean probably. And for that I'm sorry but I'm just telling you restarting my pc didn't work. If its telling me failed to download file bin this isn't a different error if I'm getting the same thing as everyone else. I never came off as disrespectful to you so don't do the same to me and other people.

Jesus mate that's a long wall of text. First I'm not frustrated and appreciate your views. Second, look at that error. If you'd ignore all the useless stuff in there, it actually says ".... being used by another process" which means a duplicated instance of that file is running in the background and you have to close it manually or might be caused by some AVs. Hence it can't overwrite itself. Restarting your PC fixes it since it ends all the previous processes so the update can overwrite the file now. Also I highly doubt that's the case for you, please screenshot your error.

I get that this thread is old, but I found a plausible solution. If you downloaded plutonium using a file called plutonium.exe, and then try to update it using a file called plutonium (1).exe (aka, you downloaded an extra copy), then it will not work. You have to find and use the original file.
