Follow this video https://streamable.com/5giauo and that definitely sounds like an AV issue. Are you sure you have no other AV installed on your PC? Cause defender may block Pluto, but shouldn't delete it completely tho.

Just got informed that the update's failing for some reason, and that makes it to launch in lan mode? Can you try changing your DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 (google if you don't know how to do this) or try a VPN and see if these fixes it? Also on another note, what's the size of plutonium.exe?
