Not reproducing sound

Hi, i need help brothers;(
I was playing until the game sounds, effects and soundtracks stopped. And i dont now how to fix it, can some body help me?? -
@ELADMINALPASTOR what do you mean? you were playing and suddenly the game stopped reproducing sounds without you doing anything? What if you restart the game?

How can i restart it?? I mean, i closed the game, and when i open it again it doesnt have sound. Thank your for answer mee by the way¡ I aprecciate

@ELADMINALPASTOR well which output device is set in the game options? is that one plugged in? is that one listed in the windows sound options?

Yes, i have selected my speakers. But in the game i cant or i dont now how to change that option. But i conect my headsets and it still not working. Shoud i have to install it again?

@ELADMINALPASTOR no, you can only change the output device in the main menu afaik, not while in game. Just go to options -> sound. What is selected there currently? Default device? Could also just set your speakers as your default device in the windows sound options.

@ELADMINALPASTOR i doubt that will fix it.. very unlikely it's related to the game itself.
Have you tried simply restarting your pc? Could also try disabling "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" which could help if some other software on your pc is taking exclusive control of the speakers for some reason.
System -> Sound -> Device properties below your output device -> Additional device properties -> advanced

@ELADMINALPASTOR i don't know? Clearly something up with your system and sound devices but i can't really tell you what.. Can you post screenshots of:
- Your windows sound settings
- Your ingame sound settings

@ELADMINALPASTOR I have selected the speakers, and in cod 2 i cant change it. So i guess i have to do it from windows, thanks for helping me. If i need help i guess i ask you for help tomorrow
