What game do I need to buy?

Sorry if this has been covered - I can't find it.
- Can I buy BO2 on Steam and it work?
- Do I need to buy the entire bundle ($99)?
- Is there a LEGIT other option for getting the game/DLC instead of $99 Steam?
Bundle seems to include the game and all DLC.

You don't need to buy the game, if you are okay with torrenting the full game.
If you want to buy the game, then you can buy just the base game, but note you won't get any DLC. (i.e. you can play on base maps only)
If you want DLC, you should buy the bundle.
