X4NNY that's not how it works lol. .iwd files are basically .zip files so what you do is you download his example file, open it with 7zip or winrar and replace the mp3 file that is inside with yours.

@xvnbrs If you have winRAR you can double click the MainMenuMusicExample.iwd, go to the music folder and drag and drop an mp3.
          Video

If you don't have winRAR then create a "sound" folder, inside of it create a "music" folder, and inside it put your mp3 and name it "plutonium_main.mp3". Compress the sound folder in a zip file and change the ".zip" part to ".iwd".

Hey i tried your method and it works but is there a way to increase the main menu music sound? I have tried audacity to amplify the music by 2 db but that doesn't do too much and i am scared of the clipping warning it gives.

Same issue here. I managed to change the music to what I want but the volume of it in the menu is way lower than in the standalone file, and lower than the standard plutonium theme. Maybe something about the mp3 file being read from the .iwd file that makes it play at a lower volume compared to the way the standard theme is read from a standalone folder?

znchi I know I'm late but I have winRAR and when I double click the "MainMenuMusicExample.iwd" It will only open in notepad and does not give me the option to open the iwd file with winRAR. I tried your other method and when I compressed the sound folder and tried to start the game it crashed immediately.
