Launcher crashing

I have been playing [ BO2] Plutonium for a good few months without problem up until now. I was playing seamlessly just yesterday yet as I had went on to play this morning, the game had crashed only minutes after logging on. Nearly every attempt following the in-game crash resulted in the launcher itself freezing for a few seconds after pressing play, then crashes the program. I've managed a few successful attempts at running the game, yet it was only for up to a minute before crashing once again. No error is shown or prompted, the application simply goes away.
I have tried reinstalling Plutonium several times with no success, and skimmed through the Plutonium forums for the better part of today trying to find any solutions with no luck. Any help or suggestions? -
Sounds like an AV issue, what antivirus do you use?
