creating server without ports??
-
My friends and i want to run a server or smthg to play together, but we cant enable Upnp, we can both connect to the same wifi, is there a way to create a server only for local network, in order not to go forward the ports ?? tyy

intjll yes you can host a dedicated server at home ant not forward the ports, the server will work but won't be reachable from outside your own network. To connect to it use the lan ip and port of the pc the server is running on, for example:
connect 192.168.1.100:4977

Dss0 said in creating server without ports??:
last question, my port is 0, and i cant access the router to check or forward the ports, how can i create a port or smthg like that, we didnt have that issue in minecraft 4 example

intjll ok so you do want to port forward now? The port being 0 just means upnp is disabled, the default port of the game is 4976.
You can't forward ports without accessing the router's web interface.
