I keep getting this update error whenever I try to update MW3

- Where did you download the game from?
- Try deleting plutonium.exe (and plutonium.new.exe if it exists) and re-download the launcher from here: https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe

Exam well we don't offer a download for mw3 itself, we only have a tutorial that shows you how to get it for free via steam (using the dedicated server files).

Well, I might've forgotten. But I know that I definitely didn't download some virus off a fake website, so It was probably the tutorial and the steam server application for the game.
