Hello everyone!
I'm going to try and make this as detailed as possible to give the best understanding of the issue I'm experiencing.
I have a dedicated SERVER PC with an i5-6500, 16gb of RAM, and 500gb of storage running Debian 13. The PC is set up to use AMP server manager and a premium version of PLAYITGG to take care of all the tunneling to allow my friends and I to connect from anywhere. I have the sever running and ported through PLAYIT just fine, but whenever I join the server, that is on the same internet as myself, my ping consistently sits at 85-95. However if my friends attempt to join their ping is sitting much higher at 300.
I made sure to pick the closest server possible with PLAYIT, but it didn't seem to change anything. The reason I'm not just port forwarding through my ISP is due to a CGNAT. I tried calling my ISP and asking for a public IPv4 or bridge, but they told me It'd cost an extra $90 a year. Ultimately why I chose to go with the premium version of PLAYIT.
First time ever setting up a server pc so I will do the absolute best I can to answer any questions or provide any additional information necessary.
Thanks!
