Is it only possible to host a server with an official Steam download?I'm interested in hosting a server to play with some friends. While it was very simple to host servers for BO2 and MW3 using the old torrent files, the same did not happen when I tried to replicate the steps for the BO1 server.
That got me wondering if I'm having a problem with the game files, or if it could be something else entirely.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
