I recently discovered and downloaded the Black Ops II/III Sound Studio with the intent of modifying some of the game audio files. I was able to locate some principal game files (like the zombies menu music) and replace it. Has anyone taken this a step further and modified gun sounds/voices/other effects?

Change BO2 Music ?OneTap wait really? the bo2 zombies menu music is nostalgic as frick, that's gotta be a lit track you've got.
In the game folder, under "sound", there should be a whole bunch of .sabl and .sabs files. this website explains what the file format is and links software that you can use to open and modify these files. give it a try!

Installing plutonium with 32 BIT (help)the complete folder is 13.7 GB, so it wouldn't be super easy to just throw it across the internet without a paid data sharing service.
Also, my computer is 32bit, so i couldn't use piry directly, so I used a friend's computer and put the files on a flash drive that I stuck into my computer. That's probably the easiest fix.
P.S. 2 GB ram probably isn't enough. I've got 4GB and the game uses ~70% of available ram. I would suggest a ram upgrade.
