Dude his suggestion is to download an entirely new operating system. And your suggestion is to bypass the ban by spoofing my hardware. What use is the anti-cheat even if one can just bypass it like that anyway? What's stopping the cheater from doing so? There's no reason to defend a broken anti-cheat simply because it doesn't affect you.

Why Is Playing on Steam Deck A Bannable Offense? -
Why Is Playing on Steam Deck A Bannable Offense? So you detail exactly why your anti-cheat is broken and bans people falsely, then follow that up with saying you're not going to fix it? Why even join this project if you're going to ignore part of the community because they aren't a big enough player base? Might as well go get a job at Activision if numbers are really all that matter. Fix your anti-cheat.

Steam Deck PatchThere's really no reason beyond apathy that Steam Deck players aren't able to use the service, all because one person decided to cheat with the same model of computer. I was hoping that when I reinstalled bo2 zombies it would let me play given that it's a co-op mode, but nope; still banned. For a client that is supposed to bring life to abandoned games, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I basically get the Activision treatment from you, and directed to install an entirely new Operating System as if that's an acceptable solution for a game that for all other intents and purposes works fine on SteamOS. There are thousands of people that want to play their old favorites but instead we get told to kick rocks because one guy decided to try the incredibly rare act of cheating in a multiplayer game? Come on now.
