  • WaW Zombies Crash (Vanilla Maps, no mods)
    Bottleboneundefined Bottlebone

Zombies will always seem to crash after a certain amount of time, like a few minutes, no matter which of the 4 maps I'm playing. I'm playing solo btw. There's no console error, it'll just back screen and keep playing the sounds that were already playing. The crash isn't fatal, I can still open the console and disconnect myself that way. Is this just an issue with the client?

    Things I've already tried:
-Windowed, borderless (Always had it that way)
    -Turn off Specular Maps
    -Turn down Corpse Count
    -Search for an existing solution

Everything is installed correctly, I keep the client updated, I use a real WaW copy on Steam. Campaign and MP are fine, just Zombies does this.

  • timescale command does not work
    Bottleboneundefined Bottlebone

Essentially, my problem is that when I was running a private game with sv_cheats on and messing with commands on the console, I found that the timescale command did not work. I would type, for example, "timescale 0.5" and hit enter, and no change in game speed occurred. When I began typing timescale again to see it's current value, it was still 0.5.

It should also be noted that I was using the IW5 Bot Mod. But I don't see how that should affect timescale.

    Thanks, Any help is appreciated.
