I have the same issue. Everything works correctly until it freezes for a few seconds and then coming back and when it comes back I'm often dead because the zombies get me while my screen freezes. And for me this happens not only in sp zombies, ot also happens in mp zombies and regular mp.

If I remember correctly the devs said they didn't plan to unlock timescale features for mw3
