Make sure you have .NET Framework 4.7.2 installed, it might not be shipped with Windows 8 by default.
Furthermore,
One thing I will tell you, if you continue with that policy of not covering O.S. a little old, Plutonium they will not
massify.
We have already seen evidence of the opposite - we're growing like never before. Steam's surveys reveal that >88% of "gamers" run Windows 10, that's plenty for us.
Remember that MW3 and BO2 are video games from old years, players who want to play or start again, have decent computers to run them and with operating systems such as windows 7 or later that originally those video games are natively compatible.
Windows 10 shouldn't use any more resources than 7 or 8(.1), install an LTSC build if you don't want the extra "bloat".
It does not cover a compatibility for windows 7 and later, it is a shot to the feet.
Microsoft already dropped mainstream support for 7, 8 and 8.1, why should we support it?
But hey, it's the developers' decision (and I respect it), every startup has to make mistakes in order to learn and grow.
We're not a startup - we don't make any money - we do it on our free time and we don't have enough resources to test and develop for old platforms.
