Plutonium

So I downloaded the launcher, but when I open it the fetching update info screen appears, and immediately after it closes, without any error message whatsoever. I already tried disabling windows defender and adding plutonium.exe to the exception list, without results. Help would be greatly appreciated, even if only to link to another post.
