and where can i find my port forwarding settings? am sorry if this is a dumb question im new to plutonium

I recently made my own server so that me and my friends can play by ourselves. I can join easily by entering connect internalip:localhost in the console, but when a friend tries it a message saying "Joining Game Session" pops up but then it goes away and nothing happens.
