Survival Mode and Campaign!!Yeah it's a bit disappointing survival mode and campaign aren't supported especially since they added support for gamepad that'd be cool to have that in SP, also I guess survival mode could be modded around...
But yeah all in all I prefer seeing the project not lose focus on its main goals, I want to see more MW2 and possibly MW1 maps be brought to MW3 and I like to see they're working on making BO2 great as well also, the team can just do as much work and if they start working on too many things, nothing will get big/finished...

When did people stop using common sense?Xerxes said in When did people stop using common sense?:
But private matches are listen servers to the very word of their definition. You still have to portforward and they are already joinable (I think) through the friends list in PlutoIW5. The only thing they don't do is to heartbeat.
Well then give an option for the guy hosting a private match to let it appear on the server list, this sounds even easier than what I thought, I initially thought just as you but Mr.Android told me it'd be difficult due to how things are emulated, maybe he did not correctly understood my idea...

I think you are looking back at aIW and 4D1 through rose tinted glasses or the players did behave drastically different in your region than they did in mine.
Well maybe it's a regional thing, I live in France and French people just aren't much of the type to meddle with things, not because they don't want to but because they're the type that can hardly be arsed to do anything...

The problem with dedis is not only on how poorly admins manage their population but also in the way they're configured, no map rotation, stupid time or score limits, unnecessary high player counts, all servers have 18 players when most maps can't handle that, the list goes on and on...
I am not saying you don't have a point here but everything you listed is possible with lobbies as well. And not all servers are configured like that.
Eh yeah, I know it's possible in lobbies but it just rarely happens, I remember my matchmaking experience in aIW/4D1 in the beginning it was horrible, too much kids ruining the stuff, then they made a matchmaking playlist for those wanting to fuck around it made things way better (people mostly respected the thing) and once we had dedis you'd just rarely pop on a modded lobby...
I made a feature suggestion a few days ago, asking to let players host listen servers, possibly from an option in the private match menu to turn a private match into a listen server, the server would be listed in the server list, that could help people host more vanilla content and make it more accessible, I know I would use that quite a lot...

That's one of the reasons I want matchmaking so badly, server admins can rarely be trusted to provide people with a proper game experience...
And then what? Kids with force host kicking you from lobbies instead? Its not like MM will magically solve the issue. With dedicated servers you can at least ignore the bad ones, with MM it can happen, that it will put you into the same lobby over and over again.
I mostly still have the same admins I have had 10 years ago due to the lack of decent to good applicants, I am not sure if its because our servers are less popular or because too much has changed during the years.

With matchmaking you have at least the possibility of enjoying the vanilla game, so yeah from time to time a kid would ruin the lobby with stupid scripts but it's something that even happens on PS3 and 360, you just leave the lobby and get matched again, also if you make a matchmaking playlist for kids who wanna run scripts like there was in aIW, you could probably manage this issue... some additions to the matchmaking system, like an option to blacklist certain players to avoid being matched with them could meddle this btw...
I'm not saying matchmaking is perfect, I'm just saying it's better if you want to enjoy a vanilla experience of the game and it's a great thing to have along dedicated servers, I'm not saying we should have one and not the other...

Is there going to be more Plutonium games coming out?H3X1C yeah, I remember aIW and 4DO suffering from this, NTA had way too much work to handle and some cool stuffs were never fully implemented because of that (tfw still no gold weapons in IW4x)...

is there gonna be mw3 survival mode ?@noxiwoxi Survival was kinda fun but it's really cheap compared to zm, Plutonium offers T6ZM, that's a clearly cool coop/pve experience and I'd say objectively better than survival...

[Suggestions] PlutoIW5 user experience improvementMr. Android said in [Suggestions] PlutoIW5 user experience improvement:
First suggestion: I don't think the emulation we do would allow that.
Arh, that's too bad, I thought this was a matter of changing a few variables for the client configuration and it'd turn a private match into a real listen server...
Mr. Android said in [[Suggestions]
Quick match - agreed it would be good and i'll add it to the "cool things to add" list.
Noice, I'm eager to see that
Thanks for the reply and consideration

[Suggestions] PlutoIW5 user experience improvementEmosewaj Sorry, I edited my suggestion and revised my idea a little for the quick connect idea, I think this way it'd be easier to implement
I know this isn't essential but it's a real quality of life thing...
Also, I know you still need to do port forwarding to be able to host but hosting a dedi and setting it up properly takes time, especially as you have to do set up things from a configuration file, it'd be way easier for the players if they could do all that from the cool GUI that game already offers... Also they'd be more inclined to change the configuration when they feel like it...etc. Furthermore it'd make setting up a LAN party easier and more user friendly if you make this work for LAN as well...
PS: Good to know that matchmaking is planned tho, but I think with these two features it wouldn't come as much necessary as it is (as it'd provide more means for the players to have access to a vanilla experience of the game if they want to)...

[Suggestions] PlutoIW5 user experience improvementHi guys,
Been a long time since i haven't played one of those custom cod client and I think PlutoniumIW5 has some great potential to attract a lot of players but I think it requires a few tweaks to make things easier for the players.
One the key idea I think is to let player host listen servers easily from the menu, IW5 already has a ton of customization options for private matches, so I think there should be a either a whole new menu on top of the private match option, that would be called "host listen server", and then those servers would just be listed among the other dedicated servers (maybe with a flag to let players know they are self hosted).
The reason I think we need such a feature is because there always comes a moment for the players where they just can't find a server that suits their needs and hosting a dedi requires some time ahead and a server on which you can host it, whereas listen servers make this more accessible and will give the player base more freedom to experience the game in the way they want it...
Secondly and in the same philosophy, I think we should have a "Quick Connect" option, it'd connect the player to a server with a proper ping, a minimum amount of players, and a certain game mode, this could come as a new button under the dedicated server list and it would take into account the player filters to select a server(I guess it could also select the server according to filters and the pane that the player is currently seeing "INTERNET", "FAVORITES", "HISTORY", "LAN" & "FRIENDS")...
The idea behind this is to remove the hassle of having to browse through the server list and go right into the game, in the style of a matchmaking experience (but probably better)...
What do you think of those ideas and do you think they'd be easily implementable in the game?
Cheers and thanks for the good work
Also, I think it'd be cool if we could get this in PlutoT6 as well, even if I think it'd be a little more of a hassle to implement...
Here are 2 shitty paints mockups of how things could be done:
