"Preparing Windows" on every boot up? Try a clean install of OS (using Media Creation Tool and at least 8GB Flash Drive https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10).
Let us know if the issue persists even after system reset, because I've been using Pluto for nearly 6 months, and never had this issue.

LoadTank21 Weird. What version of Plutonium launcher are you running? Recent one is r3266.
If you're running on older version (such as r3259 and older), you have to update.

Shojikinaai Your friend needs to do port forwarding in order for you to be able to join. Games like T5 (and I assume T6) work with no additional port forwarding.

Nothing to be worried about, server you're trying to join needs a restart.

@Alyx-J Last viable option would be to straight up reinstall Windows and redownload all games. AVG is just Avast reskin, same shit, different branding.

[GOD] Sebas having 2 antiviruses isn't the smartest thing, I remember running Malwarebytes and Avast on old rig, and it was overheating a lot. Remove one of those, and try cleaning your PC from trash files. Some antiviruses in general affect PC performance, while some constantly block Plutonium (which is why you need to add it to exclusions list), and that tutorial can be found here https://plutonium.pw/docs/antivirus/
To uncap FPS, you have to type the command in in-game console (which is accessed via button under Esc), and then type com_maxfps 1000 (or any maximum number allowed).

trixyy69 due to possible C&D note(s) (due to adding a game that's still giving Activision profit/is still supported by Activision), and for the sake of making other games work properly, no, they won't add more games. Maybe in the future.

cretin107 Weird issue honestly. Tried helping a dude named vJustin, and he has similar (if not, the same) problem like you.

You can probably try and execute the following command in CMD (or in search field):
taskkill /f /im plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe /t

@steamplayz Try opening Volume mixer and maxing out the sound on Plutonium.

@IHateBlackOps4 TeknoMW3 files are older and not particularly supported. They can work, but you'll encounter bugs like the one with classes (the one you have), the one where you cannot change the map in Private game (the one I have), and so on. Use the method provided in the guide, and you won't encounter any of the aforementioned bugs, or just go on with the one you have, it's up to you.
I think you can probably transfer the game files with all the prestiges, but that's for a different topic.

EDIT: Not particularly sure if I got the directory right (Admins, please correct me if I am wrong), but I found mpdata file in the following folder:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\demonware\18409\user (the last number may vary)

@IHateBlackOps4 that's probably the problem. Did you use the files from nosteam (or used TeknoMW3 patch for MP to work)? If so, then just use the Plutonium's method. That way, you won't encounter any bugs.

wallbanger Most of the shit is already patched or can be fixed by some commands.

1. Plutonium server overlay needs to be refreshed, and after refreshing it, you'll get all available servers.
2. Never experienced server overlay to blink, so I honestly don't know what it could be.
3. Could be that server has been idling for long time, and needs a restart. It's a known bug with not that easy of a fix.
4. Could be servers, but I've also noticed that. Relogging to that server helps.
5. Servers rarely crash while playing, unless it has been overloaded quite a lot.

7. Even present in the Steam copy, so nothing special.
8. Some servers have removed Mule Kick, hence that's why there's no Mule Kick.
9. Perk icons in Zombies tend to blink if the server has allowed keeping perks, while only losing Juggernog.
10. Known issue, only way you can fix it is separate WiFi connection or a VPN for your friend in the same house.
11. Names do get mixed up, but it isn't gamebreaking. It annoys some people, but it is what it is.
12. You can play Fullscreen Windowed if you want, that way your mouse won't get stuck.
13. Could be a placebo where you thought you killed your teammate, when in reality he got killed by zombies, or it could be real bug where you killed your teammate. I guess we'll never know.
14. Haven't experienced any sounds being messed up, you can probs repair game files if you're concerned about it.

Plutonium devs are listening to the community, and are fixing the games that still need some polishing. Trust me, you'd wanna come back to Plutonium once you see all the games working fine.

@IHateBlackOps4 Repairing game files will help as Resxt said, but if there's nothing you can do, just unlockall. Has this issue happened to you before, like several days ago? Did you use Plutonium's method of installing MW3?

@benja115zz Maybe you should try DS4, and not throw 3 euros on software which has support for only one type of controller.

@vJustin The issue of yours seems quite weird honestly.
From what I see, you're running Windows 11 (which is supported by Plutonium).
I honestly don't know what else it could be, so your best bet is to ask some staff on Discord.

@vJustin Everything seems to be in the order. Could you possibly reinstall the game? Or try the copy Plutonium provides?

@vJustin Can you take a screenshot of your game folder, and the path you set in Plutonium?

@vJustin You got the game files for T5 on your PC?
Since Plutonium on your PC works normal with T6 you said.
