zerandel Hey - thanks for the kind words, all the servers are hosted by community players just like you, and most of those players are from Central Europe or America, as such they tend to host their servers in those countries too. As such your ping will be higher as the servers are further away from you.

Are you guys running dxtory, fraps or anything like that? Have you tried turning shadowplay or any other background stuff? Maybe try turning off the xbox game bar that comes with win 10?

The VPN blocking is a feature inside IW4MADMIN which is a server admin tool that alot of servers use. All the feature does though is kick you if your IP is detected as a VPN. It doesn't ban as far as I am aware, so you're fine there.

Most VPN's will be detected as a VPN though.

You can also open the console by pressing the Tilde key ( ~ ) and then typing cg_fov XX

XX being the number you would like. cg_fov 90 for example.

peak40 Try using a VPN, if it works with thr VPN on, then its probably a firewall problem.

To answer OP:

BO3 was one of the first games to heavily introduce Micro-Transactions and ATVI still make money from it to this day.

Plutonium does not want to carry the risk of being legally ordered to shut down by taking these too far and affecting ATVI's bottom line.

There are other smaller issues too but this is the big one, alot of the owners of Plutonium have careers that we can't risk losing just so people can play BO3.

We've found the issue and this is now being tested.

I know this sounds silly but can you try doing the following:

Get your stats to where you want them via the commands you mentioned above.

Edit a custom class (change a weapon or something).

Then join a server and play and wait for the server to swap to the next map.

Once the new map has loaded, wait about 20 seconds and then leave and check your stats. Make sure they are at what you would expect (maybe level 2 for example).

Quit the game.

Restart and check if stats how now saved.

If they have, it should stick from then

We are currently looking at this now. We do not support downgrading and attempts could trigger the anticheat.

His account was accessed by multiple IP addresses known to have been used by a group stealing short Plutonium usernames to then sell to other people.

I'll send an email to the email address on the account from 2021, if your friend can respond to my email then i'll unban the account. Your friend should certainly change his password once unbanned and enable 2 factor Authentication.

Edit: Email sent, he has 48 hours to respond to the email. If we do not get a response, we will close this thread.

Out of interest, which staff member fixed it and what did they do?

Please only do this if you're willing to share your screen via discord and do some tests to help us troubleshoot the issue and gather more data. None of our staff are facing the issue so it's proving difficult to troubleshoot.
