switch controllers do not work on call of duty games so you have to use a software called "X360CE" link: https://www.x360ce.com/ it basically makes your controller show up as a xbox 360 controller all u have to do is click add, click your nintendo controller, press the buttons it tells u to press and , minimize the tab then go in game enable controller and u should be able to use the controller just fine.

Re Launch The Game If That Doesn't Fix The Error Reinstall The Whole Game And It Should Be Fixed. If THAT Doesn't Work Go Into The Pluto_t5fullgame Folder Then Redist And Install The VC_redistX86

@G3tSug4 Well You Can Play The Mod Right Now With Another Friend Or Solo BUT Five, Kino And, All The Other Original bo1 Maps Won't Work. If You Try Launching Them Up They Will Crash The Game, For Now You Can Play The 4 WaW Maps With Full Support. (I Recommend Nacht Der Untoten With This Mod.)
