RedxSkull Thanks for not being hostile but I disagree with you simply because it's not how ranks work, they do not reflect time spent, they reflected ratio. Ok sure there was a small kill treshold you had to reach before upgrading to knife and then shotguns (around 5k for skull, 10k 70 kdr for knife and 20k 200kdr for shotguns). The rest was skillbased while tally marks and blue eyes meant consecutive days played. IDK what you're talking about by most players reached such ranks with glitches, because such players would derank pretty quick if they cant keep with ratio. I myself maxed in zombies on both ps3 and x360 without glitches and about to on plutonium.

@Mar-Astaguas sounds like excuses you're making for being bad, an exploiter will drop pretty quick to knife and then skull if they keep dying while not maintaining ratio. The fact that you didn't care back in the days isn't true for everyone. The system didn't suck and reflected how good you were at the game. But I'm done arguing, it's fine that you aren't competitive by nature and like to play pretend, just remember that we aren't all betas not interested in competition lmao.

Resxt Yea except there is no matchmaking and trying to meet actual good players for a private match is a chore when there is no ranks. Back in the days you could simply back out of the lobby if you were matched with new players.

Xerxes Good point, so why not have legit ranks? Everyone is happy. We get the competitive nature of the leaderboards and the noobs get to run with permaperks and godmode or whatever is unlocked.

Why can you unlockall in zombie mode? ranks are skillbased, I don't see a reason to be able to show off ranks that you don't deserve. Zombies were always about reaching the highest score and maintaining good stats and climbing the leaderboard, It's fine that some players want to casually kill zombies but there's no point in giving out free ranks since it doesn't change anything in game.
