Thank you for responding. Yes I was excluding the wrong folder, however I installed my game into the (D:). Is it necessary to install the game into the (C:) for me to exclude %localappdata% from the list? . 
My game works totally fine when windows defender is disabled. How ever when enabled, i launch plutonium click play and it loads then simply closes. I have also made a exclusion in the settings but this still goes on.
