This topic can be ignored. Loading the CODMVM mod ended up getting me banned because I forgot to load into LAN only mode. I tried being forthcoming and asking staff in their discord for a possible unban, which I get is a stretch, and I was shut down (understandably).

Just posting this last reply for anyone having the same issue, and hopefully this will be a warning for them to NOT do what I did lmao. (Load CODMVM while online in IW3, didn't seem to be an issue for T5.) shoutout to kuta for linking the LanLauncher

    update:

it doesn't seem to be an issue with Pluto, and I don't suspect that it is. Out of curiosity I tried to load the IW5MVM mod with Pluto and it worked no issue.

  • Can't open/setup plutonium due to group policy...

If you have a local account, then you could load into it and run "GPupdate /force /boot" and reboot. That should remove the group policy from the machine, I believe.

However, you're going to need admin privileges, which I imagine you won't have. If you do, though, be careful doing that. What will most likely happen is they will see it fall off the domain and replace it. Just putting you back at step one. So ultimately you might get a weekend of fun ultimately, though it's not worth it. Plus, I'd be surprised if the laptop even has resources well enough to run the game.

note: If you try to keep them from replacing the laptop, they'll just charge you/your parents or hold credits or a degree until money is exchanged for it. Again, this is not really worth it if that even works.

Hey guys, sorry if this is lacking in info, but I'm looking for some assistance regarding trying to load CODMVM. I'm able to launch BO1, and join servers/host private matches. I have a mod installed titled "mp_editor_mod" installed, provided from Peroz. I've downloaded CODMVM from its official source. I've also tried loading the game online as well as in LAN mode.

The issue is that whenever I click "Load Mod" for CODMVM and go back into the client, the client freezes and crashes. My crash dump reports the below information:

    Exception Code: 0xC0000005
    Exception Address: 0x647B0000

I'm unable to attach the .dmp file because it's too large, and I can't attach .zip files. The below screenshot should have some good info according to itself (Crash reference ID: 0)

I can record the steps I'm taking to replicate the issue if necessary. I also joined the CODMVM discord and everyone is just saying to click to close the console error because that's normal, but the game is still freezing so I'm not sure what is normal with it.
