H3X1C We found out it wasn't the vpn we were using it happened either way. We both deleted and reinstalled the game and it seems to work better but the person joining still has a higher ping then normal but not as bad.

Infamous Same for me. I click play and nothing happens. There's nothing in the folder I set for it. I have gotten the game to launch twice after 20 tries. The first time it froze for 10 minutes and the second time it closed out after a few seconds. I downloaded the dedicated server and followed everything on the guide.
Edit: So I found out it was my antivirus deleting all the files every time I tried to open the game. I disabled everything and now it seems to work just fine.

When me and my cousin have tried playing customs on multiplayer or zombies the one joining gets a very very high ping around 500. We normally have a ping of 17-18. Why is this happening? We thought it was because of Radmin but we switched to Hamachi and it was still doing it.
