  • Is there a way to add certain weapons to other maps?

    I always loved playing bo1 zombies, but something I recently realized despite having the plutonium version of bo1 zombies is that I would want to see what it's like to use certain weapons that wouldn't normally be used on a particular map. For instance, it would be cool seeing a weapon like the winter's howl being on a map like kino or the human gun from call of the dead on something like five lol. Anyone can tell me if I'm wrong, but I could've sworn somewhere there was a way to do this by I think going into the files, adding the weapon into the particular map. Like I said, I could be wrong and just be thinking of some other game like bo2 or WaW. If anyone knows, can you give me the directions, script or modification for this?

    @dontknowletsplay I put the script in the correct location, but every time I open BO1 zombies, it immediately crashes with an error. I made sure ofc the file was '.gsc', the exact name being "death_machine.gsc". Did I name it incorrectly or is it suppose to be named something specific or does the script for some reason just doesn't plain out work? If you need to know what the error was, lmk asap and I can show you the error.

    I've been looking and searching deep for anything related to the death machine, including mods in terms of getting an unlimited duration on it, but it seems my hope has gone down. Because of this, I was also wondering if there's any way, shape or form to modify the death machine to an infinite duration? If so, can anyone like create a script or particular modification for it?

    I've already read previous posts upon Pluto entirely declining the game, but the whole point of this post is to see a valid explanation from any official Pluto staff as to why the game will not or at least anytime soon, be on Plutonium. (In other words, I couldn't find exactly why Pluto said no to adding BO3 to Plutonium)

    Side note: I know this seems Provocative and what I can actually infer (or at least the first few sentences of this paragraph), but despite how often updates (or patches) are being applied to BO3 and how engaged Activision & Treyarch are upon the game itself, it seems to clearly indicate potential full-on modding with the game. After all, the whole purpose of the games that Plutonium currently offers is to not only ofc bring back the older era of the call of duty series, but also to allow a full unique modding experience. I feel like BO3 is in that patch where as said before, it's not really being focused on and sort of drying up in monthly plays nowadays. Sure if you do the numbers and round them, they may average to 1.5k to 2k plays each month, but I don't see how that could really compare to more newer CoD games like bo4, cold war, and vanguard. What I'm saying is, future games that could be potentially added into Plutonium should be games that aren't really receiving too much spotlight anymore and that have that nice sense of nostalgia. By doing so, including communities like this one will definitely bring back spotlight onto the game and allow new and epic modding experiences. To conclude this side note, I'm not begging or necessarily trying to convince the staff or Pluto entirely to finally include this game, but I'm just saying instead of fully declining this game, (or at least until a staff member gives me the needed information to take back what I said) just progressively, as time does its thing, consider it and see when the time comes as to finally including the game in Plutonium.

    Is this only for multiplayer or does it also apply to zombies? if so, that would be dope asf. Regardless if it does or doesn't work for zombies, beautiful textures.

    Don't worry, it's all under control. When I tried replacing the 'common_zombie_patch.ff' file with the second alpha version of the mod menu, I had an error and I was unable to play. I knew it wasn't windows defender since it was already turned off so after converting the modded patch file back to the original, everything was back to normal. If you're wondering, even for some reason if I were to somehow ruin the game itself and make it unplayable, I always have a clean and backup of the game on my USB stick.

    Even after downloading the latest version of this particular menu, then going to BO1 > zone > common to replace 'common_zombie_patch.ff' with the modded version, (I created a backup btw) nothing seems to appear relating to the mod in-game. Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I'm not doing right? or does mod menus not quite work yet for zombies of BO1? Hopefully someone can give me a valid explanation to my situation.
