You may can get it to run if you try a different version as it works flawless on my end.

It tries to install a protocol handler, that way you can click on a link and join a server. Seems like it needs admin privileges on your system though. Try running it as admin.

Just get any xinput wrapper for it. I for example am still using the SCPToolkit.
