If you wrote your own injector you might want to add a check if plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe was launched with -lan.

Good that we don't have lobbies but rather dedicated servers where each one is hosted by a player from the community, who is responsible to moderate their servers. If you are unhappy with the moderation of a server I would suggest to try and populate another server. But if all you do is to join garbage servers that only want to make a quick buck through donations then you can't be helped. There are plenty of great server owners which are very quickly banning cheaters on their server.

If it freezes you can try to restart the updater or try Cloudflare WARP or another VPN.
