It's better to manually look through the gsc files getdvar( "n" + "o" + "c" + "l" + "i" + "p") for example is a very easy way prevent someone from searching noclip to find your code checking the dvar.

Don't try to manually compile it, let the game handle that.

Should be fixed with the next update, its related to us supporting the vanilla mod path in %appdata%.

Try to set the dvar cl_noForumAvatars to 1.

FYI an alternative to using an empty mod would be to enable use_localStats.

Most likely you either have a VPN enabled or your ISP does not separate private and commercial IP ranges and thus your IP is falsely flagged as VPN.
