how to fix unable to join game session

Otherwise open the app in your firewall and make sure the group is opened in game.If nothing works port forwarding port 3074 (UDP) on your router will make it work

JhonBondiola Hey I had the same problem with me and my friend. We couldn't join each other's game out of nowhere (to be clear we had just played the night before). we fixed it by closing the game and updating steam. for some reason, this fixed it even though neither of us has black ops 2 installed on steam. hope this helps.

I tried to fix it like a video I saw on youtube and a discover that my pc doesnt have 2 plutonium like on the video. take a look

I was having the same problem and what fixed the issue was updating steam even though I don't own an original copy of black ops 2 on steam.

I FOUND a semi-consistent FIX. When you invite your friend to your game don't leave the friend invite screen until they join the party. An example like, start your own custom zombies game -> pick a map -> press F to select your friend -> press invite and don't leave that window until they join. I found that to work more often than not.
