how to fix unable to join game session

I FOUND a semi-consistent FIX. When you invite your friend to your game don't leave the friend invite screen until they join the party. An example like, start your own custom zombies game -> pick a map -> press F to select your friend -> press invite and don't leave that window until they join. I found that to work more often than not.

after closing out steam before launching it me and my friends were able to connect

We found that running steam in the background fixes the issue

Same problem here, i can play with friends on online, but not zombie at all, open port 3074 and 4976, disable firewall and same error

I have the same issues, seems like there's a problem with plutonium instead of everyone here having a common probleme

i fixed it by unfollowing my friend (also he to me), then refreshing the page and following back again, then open plutonium and play as normal (We do this process everytime to play, its the only way we found to fix it. (We only tested this on T6 zombies so).
