    Hi all,

I'm trying to setup a local server on my machine. Right now I'm only interested in running test matches against bots, and the server is running on the same machine I'm playing on. It's my understanding that I shouldn't need a server key to play on my local machine via LAN. I've changed the port on the server to something that doesn't conflict with the game, and am connecting to it in the client with the "connect localhost:xxxx" command (with the server running of course). When I run that command however, I get this message:

Your authentication ticket could not be verified because the server you are trying to connect to is not authenticated to Plutonium.

This shouldn't matter on my local machine in LAN mode, right? What could I be missing?

CrazyDudeCOD you do need a key, the server is not running in lan mode.

Thanks Dss0! Is there a way I can place my server in an LAN mode so that I can at least test scripts? I can't create a server key until my account is at least a week old - an understandable security precaution, but it kind of leaves me with nothing to do in the meantime.

Edit: Also, I just now realized I posted this in the wrong category initially. Sorry about that!
