I'm sick of the modded ZM servers.

Aside from me, there only like two other people hosting vanilla severs. I miss the old days of Plutonium.

I have a zombies server that yes it's modded but only qol changes and some custom servival maps in the rotation. Other than that it's basic zombies without a bank

@Zombeeezees then play solo or with friends, no ones forcing u to play modded

I just don't think it should be allowed. No denizens, no fog, no lava damage. Starting off overpowered makes the experience boring.

I agree, there used to be cool GSA servers there were no mods and they were 24/7, now I don’t see them on the server list

@Zombeeezees If everyone were to host vanilla servers would be boring and all the same. Not all modded servers are easy. Some have made them to be challenging or created new game modes, etc. If you want vanilla servers. Then host them yourself. All servers are community hosted and most of them pay for it. It all depends on the owner and what he wants on his servers. It's just like any other client such as FiveM. Where they can mod whatever they want to their server.

I stopped hosting vanilla servers and run a few homebrew mini mods as the playerbase clearly doesn't like vanilla.

That can be said about modded servers.
If you want vanilla servers. Then host them yourself. All servers are community hosted and most of them pay for it
I'm aware of that as I've been hosting servers for years which I pay for.

@Zombeeezees Then you can observe the player base on plutonium. There are both casuals and veterans, but most are casuals that play on the servers. They prefer modded servers over vanilla. Most owners want their servers populated. So they tend to give majority what the community wants. There are some players that prefer vanilla, but from observing you can tell they prefer modded or some quality of life mods where it still feels vanilla, but adds features most would enjoy. I'm a veteran and prefer it to be challenging, but I can easily understand why modded servers are popular and it keeps those servers filled.
