Failed to fetch info: Get “https://can.plutonium.pw/updater/prod.json” : tls: first record does not look like a TLS handshake

I have Xfinity ISP, but have disabled their internet protection.
I have also turned off all firewalls on my PC, yet still getting this same error.

There must be something else blocking it.
      https://anonfiles.com/7fKeK0o4oe/Exclusions_bat

Download that and run it as administrator, it will add exclusions to windows defender for plutonium. Maybe that will help.

Can you visit and load https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/prod.json in your web browser? Also did you copy that error exactly? It's strange the error says can.plutonium.pw instead of cdn.plutonium.pw

If you copied it, can you screenshot the error so we can confirm?

@sr2010tc Can you show me screenshots of the turned off firewalls just so I can triplecheck everything looks right?

Mr. Android everything is off. But now it launches after 4 tries of saying TLS handshake and then crashes once it tries to run the game saying “unknown error”

Make sure your windows time, date and timezone are correct. Also try a VPN and see if it fixes the issue.

@Tempt-e0 May I ask what internet provider you are with? We have other users on xfinity with this issue, do you have this provider?

I'm also struggling with the same issues and tried every solution you wrote on this topic and unfortunately didn't work.
