[Help] Installation for perks icon on Black Ops 1 Steam
-
Hello Everyone,
I'm experiencing some difficulties and wanted to ask for your help with the installation. of the perks icons. I own BO 1 via Steam, and yet I can't find an Images folder in the game's folder. So I followed your instructions by creating an images folder and pasting the .iwi files into it. Despite this, when I launch the game on Steam, the perks logos still not change and when i launch with Plutonium the perks icons are updated, somebody can explain me the process for the installation from the folder of the game bought from Steam. I Created Images folder on SteamLibrary\Common\Call Of Duty Black Ops 1\Images\iwi files but this process look not work like Plutonium/T5/Storage/Images

Creating an images file only works for plutonium - if you want the icons to work on steam version of BO1 -
1. Go here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops\main
2. Create a copy of "iw_01"
3. Rename the copy to "iw_42" or any higher number (doesnt matter as long as its above iw_41")
4. Open "iw_42" (or whatever you named it) - then open the "images" folder
5. Delete all the files inside "images" except for "$black.iwi"You can now put all your camos/skins/perk icons or any other mod inside your newly created "iw_42"
and they should work with normal unmodded Black Ops 1 (steam launch) -
Thank you very mutch brother

zerjia Last question: if I also own the Black Ops 2 Steam version, is the procedure the same as the previous one? Thanks again
