Cant get past fetching updates

Played the past week with no issues but I'm getting this after fetching updates.

thats an issue that a few folks have been getting lately. usually fixed by waiting, resetting router, switching from wifi to ethernet, ethernet to wifi, trying a hot spot, new DNS, using VPN, turning off VPN, using something like Cloudflare WARP, etc.

basically something about your network changing to correct the connection issue to the server. that seems to do the trick.

is there a certain place my file has to be in order for the game to work on windows 11 i have seen videos and people put it anywhere even the desktop and it runs i just get this error message everytime, even deleted it and redownload everything

which file? you can put the plutonium.exe in pretty much any place you want really.

Hi,

got the same issue. Deleted everything i found and tried to reinstall -> same issue.

then i downloaded the free proton vpn -> changed to some other country (in my case netherlands) -> restartet the plutonium.exe. It installed it again and downloaded the game again. i can start it, log in and setup bo2 again.

Thraxter Yeah, it works now.

BUt the problem is that the Type NAT is "scrict", so you canno basically play with your friends.

Coming here because using Cloudflare worked no problem for a few days but now it's back to throwing the same error no matter what I do. Going into appdata and launching from the exe directly is the only solution now but it's not recommended since you won't receive updates automatically. Seems to be the only temporary fix
