Fornata I tried that a while ago and it did not work. The only thing that worked was Trirad56 's solution to the problem so shout out to them! Also Trirad56 I do not recommend deleting everything since now my monitor will not go to sleep mode after I turn my PC off, I have to manually power it off now. I will probably just reset it and then when I want to play plutonium just delete the bad resolutions. Also for some reason the program won't let me make a 240 hz 1440p resolution, I had to do it in the Nvidia Control Pannel but the app let me remove the 1080p stuff so it worked and I cannot complain!

Hello, I found a fix for this problem.
I searched everywhere but didn't find a fix but to use Windowed (Fullscreen).
        Here is a full fix:

1: download Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
        2: extract and run CRU.exe
3: delete all unused Resolutions (all Established resolutions, all Standard resolutions)
4: ALSO delete all TV resolutions in Extension blocks (I removed Audio stuff too because I don´t use it)
5: If you have another Monitor connected to the same things for it.
6: run restart64.exe from the same folder (this restarts the driver)
        Example:
        Screenshot 2025-04-22 005911.png

after doing this I can select 2560x1440 in Fullscreen 🙂
I hope that I helped somebody with this

Trirad56 This worked! Now I'm back at 1440p 480 Hz.
