I have installed a copy of CODBO (T5) and downloaded Plutonium from the web, I have set the game path to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Duty Black Ops", I have installed VC_redist.x86.exe and VC_redist.x64.exe, Directx and it still does not work. I have tried all the possible solutions I have seen on the forum but it is not much more than what I have already done. Any help? thanks

Now after reinstalling the game and Plutonium I get this new error

For the invalid fastfiles error, select the directory that Steam installed the game into and remove the old one.

I have deleted the game installed in a folder other than steam and installed it in the steam folder, but it still gives me the same error :S.

adrircero if you truly installed the game through Steam, then use Steam to repair the game. https://plutonium.pw/docs/repair/
If you keep facing the error after that, then you didn’t correctly follow the suggestions.

No, I don't have the game purchased on Steam, I have it physically. Is it necessary to have it on steam to play with plutonium?

adrircero the physical disc files are useless on Plutonium if you’re unable to redeem on Steam the code that comes with the disc and if you’re unable to install the game updates.

His "physical" copy is a pirated copy.
IIRIC the real physical copies only contain encrypted data for Steam which you can only install after activating the cd key.

You need a legal copy of the game.
